Kazuo Ishiguro’s ‘Never Let Me Go’ is my book of 2011 so far without a question.I’ve actually read a lot of good stuff this year, so it’s testament to how good I think this book is that it steals this spot without any need for contemplation.
It’s haunting and achingly sad and so so beautiful and it’s one of those books that stays with you long after you’ve read the last page. I’ve gifted it twice this year already.
Amazing.
